Todd Wachtel – Partner

Todd graduated from the International Studies Specialized Learning Center at Freehold Township High School in 1990. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from Syracuse University in 1994. Following college, he earned his law degree from Widener University School of Law in Wilmington Delaware in 1997. He was admitted to the bar of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania the same year, and the State of New Jersey in 1998.
Upon graduating from law school, he clerked for the Honorable Frederick P. De Vesa, J.S.C., and then went on to work in private practice. Prior to joining the firm, Todd was employed by the State of New Jersey as a Deputy Attorney General where he represented the State in Workers’ Compensation claims throughout New Jersey. He has been a coach for numerous towns in high-school mock trial competitions, and sits on the Board of Jewish Family and Children’s Services of Mercer County. He is a member of the Justice Coleman Workers’ Compensation Inn of Court, and counsel to the New Jersey Advisory Council on Safety and Health. Todd argued Martinez v. Silverine, 361 N.J. Super. 99 (App. Div. 2003), which resulted in a published opinion from the New Jersey Appellate Division. He lives with his wife, son and daughter in Kingston, New Jersey. Todd has been Certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Workers’ Compensation Attorney.
