Nestle Raisinets have been recalled after it was found that certain batches contain undeclared peanuts and the candy should not contain this product.

Consumers that have a nut allergy may become ill after eating the recalled product and may suffer from life-threatening symptoms. The recall includes Nestle Raisinets, Fun Size Bags.

The company has issued the recall as a caution and is telling consumers that have a peanut allergy to not eat the recall product and to contact Nestle.

Chuck E. Cheese recalls nearly 1.2 million children's toys

Chuck E. Cheese has announced the recall of nearly 1.2 million children’s toys after it was found that a small battery part may become lose and become a choking hazard for small children.

The recalled products include light up rings and star glasses because the battery may be exposed it the plastic around it comes off. The batteries can then be swallowed by a small child and cause damage to the stomach, intestine or esophagus. Over one million of the light up rings areĀ  being recalled and over 30,458 units of the star glasses have been sold in the U.S.

Baby hammocks and bottles recalled

Nearly 11,000 bottle warmers and 500 baby hammocks have been recalled due to the possibility of injury.

The Beaba Express steam bottle warmer that was manufactured in China is being recalled due to a burn risk. The liquid or food that the steamer heats may get too hot and lead to a burn. There has been 10 reports of overheated bottles and one injury after an adult’s finger was burned. The product was sold from June 2010 to July 2010 at Williams-Sonoma stores nationwide.

The infant and toddler hammocks were recalled after a choking hazard was reported. The tilt of the hammock can cause the child to be trapped against the mattress and could strangle the child. There have been reports to the company of this hammocks tilting, but no injuries have been reported. The product was sold online from May 2008 to February 2010.

Peppers recalled by Chipotle Mexican Grill

The Federal Drug Administration has recalled 2000 cases of poblano peppers due to suspected listeria contamination.

The peppers were sold and distributed to three Chipotle Mexican Grilles in the Nevada, California, and Arizona. Although the product has been recalled, there have been no reports of illness.

Listeria can be found in vegetables, milk, poultry, ice cream and cheeses and although most infections associated with the bacteria are mild some can lead to much more serious complications.

Baby pacifiers recalled over choking hazard

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and the distributor of the product have announced the voluntary recall of Karino Baby Pacifiers for concerns of choking hazards.

There have been no records of injury or illness because of the pacifiers, but almost 45,000 of them have been recalled because the nipple could separate from the ring of the object.

Others reasons for the recall include the mouth guard not having enough holes and the handle being too long. The pacifiers were sold for a quarter in Texas and California.

Nearly 137,000 pieces of kids jewelry recalled

The U.S. Consumer Product and Safety Commission has announced a voluntary recall of 137,000 pieces of kids jewelry that were sold between 2008 and 2010 at Justice and Limited Too stores and online.

The recall includes 19 types of children’s bracelets, necklaces and earrings that were made in China. The items have been recalled due to toxic levels of cadmium that can cause kidney problems, bone softening and can impede brain development children.

The items are in various shapes such as heart and crowns and some say “Best,” “Friends” and or “Forever.” People who own the jewelry should stop wearing it immediately and bring it back to the store it was purchased at for refund.

Recall: 8,000 pounds of Beef Jerky products

Problems with the product labels and allergens are the reasons for the recall of 8,000 pounds of Beef Jerky.

Wheat and soy allergens in the Firehouse Jerky Mild Beef Smoke Flavor is the style of jerky that is effected by the recall. If a person has purchased this product, they are being urged to check the sell-by date on the product. If it is between 6/16/2011 and 11/25/2010 don not consume them and return the product to the store it was purchased at.

Kellogg and FDA recall cereal

Kellogg and the Federal Drug Administration are recalling 28 million cereal boxes because of the strange smell coming from the lining of the box.

The company decided to recall because there could be a health risk because of the strange smell and taste that may cause people to experience nausea and diarrhea. The products that have a KN after the Best if Used By Date are the only products included in the recall.

Kellogg’s Corn Pops, Fruit Loops and and Apple Jacks were all effected in the recall.Products being sold in Canada are not affected by the recall.

Suntech Enterprises recalls 8,400 baby walkers

Suntech Enterprises recalled about 8,400 baby walkers earlier this week. According to company reports, the baby walkers may fit through doorways and fall down stairways.

The baby walkers apparently were sold in stores in New York, California, Texas, and Illinois. Customers with the baby walkers are advised to stop using them and return them to the store where they were purchased.

Crate and Barrel recalls 5,400 candles

Crate and Barrel recalled about 5,400 of its plant-shaped decorative candles. According to company reports, the design of the candle may cause the melted way to overflow and start a fire.

The recall was sparked by a report of one of the candles catching fire. However, nobody was injured in the fire. The candles were sold by Crate and Barrel from February to April.
