Fisher-Price camping set recalled in U.S. and Canada

Posted on Thursday, August 12th, 2010 at 6:44 am

The U.S. Consumer Health and Product Safety Commission along with Health Canada have announced the voluntary recall of Fisher-Price’s Little People Play-n-Go Campsite because one of the figures can break leaving small pieces that could be a choking hazard.

The company has received eight reports of the breaking action figure, but no injuries have been reported. Nearly 96,000 of these sets were sold in the United States and 14,000 were sold in Canada.

The recalled sets only include the ones that have a Sonya Lee figure that is wearing a green sweater and has a purple camera around her neck. The item was sold at major retailers, discount stores and other toy stores through out the country. Consumers can return the action figure for a replacement by contacting Fisher-Price.

If you or a child in your family has been injured after playing with a defective toy, contact the New Jersey product liability lawyers of Levinson and Axelrod by calling 800-346-5529.
