Baby pacifiers recalled over choking hazard

Posted on Wednesday, July 21st, 2010 at 11:50 am

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and the distributor of the product have announced the voluntary recall of Karino Baby Pacifiers for concerns of choking hazards.

There have been no records of injury or illness because of the pacifiers, but almost 45,000 of them have been recalled because the nipple could separate from the ring of the object.

Others reasons for the recall include the mouth guard not having enough holes and the handle being too long. The pacifiers were sold for a quarter in Texas and California.
