Crate and Barrel recalls 5,400 candles

Posted on Thursday, June 17th, 2010 at 7:24 am

Crate and Barrel recalled about 5,400 of its plant-shaped decorative candles. According to company reports, the design of the candle may cause the melted way to overflow and start a fire.

The recall was sparked by a report of one of the candles catching fire. However, nobody was injured in the fire. The candles were sold by Crate and Barrel from February to April.
