Consumers have been advised to return a certain make and model of office chair that was sold at Cost Plus/World Market and online, following concerns regarding hazardous defects in the product. According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the wooden chair backs could possibly come loose from the seat base, potentially causing harmful falls. Persons who purchased the item are advised to return the product to the retailer and will receive a full refund or exchange.
